Continue on your Sahara Desert tour from Fes through the Middle Atlas and to the city of Midelt, “Apple of Morocco”, where you will stop for lunch. After crossing the Tizi n’Talghom pass and the spectacular Ziz Valley, you’ll be on your way to Errachidia, site of the remarkable Hassan Addakhil Dam, the oldest in Morocco. Your trip into the nature of Morocco on this Desert trip to Marrakech continues to the Natural Reserve of Aoufous, a spectacle of palm trees and orchards. Date palms are particularly famous here and there is even an international fair dedicated to them that takes place once a year in Erfoud. This town is your last stop before changing rides in Merzouga, where your private camel will take you through the sands of the Erg Chebbi desert. Before you reach your Berber Luxury Camp, enjoy the sunset over the dunes. After dinner, relax by the campfire and let yourself be entertained by Berber musicians, and when you’re tired you can rest in your fully-equipped private tent.
