Leaving your accommodation in Fes after breakfast, you will head towards the Alpine village of Ifrane, built by the French in a typical European style. The National Park of Ifrane is the biggest in the country and it’s full of wonders, from the luscious Gouraud Atlas cedars trees that are more than a hundred years old, to the delightful Barbary monkeys living in these forests. Your Sahara Desert tour from Fes continues to the “apple city” of Midelt as the Middle Atlas uncovers its beauty in front of your eyes. Midelt will welcome you for lunch, after which you will cross the Tizi n’Talghom pass to reach the luscious Ziz Valley. On the way to Errachidia, you will see one of the oldest dams in Morocco, the Hassan Addakhil Dam with its blue waters in contrast with the ochre surrounding mountains.
Next in your Moroccan desert trip, the Natural Reserve of Aoufous, with its palm trees and orchards amidst the Kasbahs. Just before you leave for the desert of Merzouga, visit Erfoud, famous for its international fair dedicated to date palms and for its design creations made with local fossils. In Merzouga, you will switch your ride with a friendly camel to explore the sands of Erg Chebbi. Hike up a dune to watch the colorful sunset before you reach your Berber Luxury Camp where you will have dinner in the heart of the desert. Enjoy your first night under the stars, sing and dance around the fire as long as you like, then you can rest in your well-equipped private tent.
DAY 2: SAHARA DESERT TOUR
DAY 3: FROM MOROCCO DESERT TO MARRAKECH

Here you can walk through the many rose bushes which are harvested during the renowned Festival of the Roses, and then used to produce the worldwide famous Moroccan rosewater.
Afterwards, your Morocco private desert tour leads you to the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified Berber town which has been the striking landscape behind some of the most famous movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth and even hit-TV series like Game of Thrones. From here, your Sahara Desert excursion from Fes continues through the Tizi n’Tichka pass where you can stop to admire the surrounding panorama. In the afternoon, you will end your tour in the lively Marrakech.
