Your Sahara Desert tour from Fes continues to the “apple city” of Midelt as the Middle Atlas uncovers its beauty in front of your eyes. Midelt will welcome you for lunch, after which you will cross the Tizi n’Talghom pass to reach the luscious Ziz Valley. On the way to Errachidia, you will see one of the oldest dams in Morocco, the Hassan Addakhil Dam with its blue waters in contrast with the ochre surrounding mountains.

Just before you leave for the desert of Merzouga, visit Erfoud, famous for its international fair dedicated to date palms and for its design creations made with local fossils. In Merzouga, you will switch your ride with a friendly camel to explore the sands of Erg Chebbi. Hike up a dune to watch the colorful sunset before you reach your Berber Luxury Camp where you will have dinner in the heart of the desert. Enjoy your first night under the stars, sing and dance around the fire as long as you like, then you can rest in your well-equipped private tent.
