    Your departure from Marrakech marks the start of your adventure, first stop: the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains to enjoy the stunning panorama. Afterwards, your Marrakech desert excursion delves a little into history with a visit to the Kasbah of Telouet and Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which are renowned UNESCO Heritage Sites and the most ancient Kasbahs in Morocco.

    The area from Ait Benhaddou to Ouarzazate is rich in scenic routes that have been featured in unforgettable movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth and the Game of Thrones series. In fact, once you reach Ouarzazate you get a chance to visit Africa’s biggest movie studio. Optionally, you can also visit the fortified palace of the Kasbah of Taourirt.

    Next in your Morocco private desert tour, a beautiful immersion in the Valley of the Roses, famous for the rosewater.     Day 2: FROM THE VALLEY OF A THOUSAND KASBAHS TO THE MOROCCO DESERT

    After tasting the deliciousness of a local breakfast, drive through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, enjoy your first stop overlooking the monkeys’ fingers, then continue your desert trip to the refreshing experience of a walk through the palm grove in the oasis of Todra, a place renowned for its olive and dates trees. Further ahead the magnificent Todra Gorge awaits, the splendid work of Mother Nature evident in its red limestone rocks and the crystal-clear waters that will turn your visit to this canyon into an enjoyable time to stroll and take pictures.

    Your Marrakech desert tour continues to Erfoud, your last city before the Merzouga Sahara Desert. The city holds a famous date palm fair every year that it’s open internationally and it’s also well-known for its peculiar handicraft made from local fossils. As you reach the Merzouga Desert, you will change rides and dive among the dunes of Erg Chebbi on the back of your personal camel to start your excursion in the Sahara Desert. Stop on the top of a dune to better appreciate the sunset over the deserted land.     Day 3: SAHARA DESERT TOUR TO MARRAKECH

    Remember to wake up early this morning, because you don’t want to miss the incredible sight of the sunrise over the Sahara. Your breakfast will be ready when you return to your Sahara Desert luxury camp, and then you will have enough time to explore the Sahara Desert, starting from the traditional village of Khemliya, whose villagers have Malian origins. Here, you will enjoy the shows of Gnawa’s traditional music and dances, then you can take a leisure stroll around the area and learn more about their farming methods over the sand. You can also visit the old souk of Sijilmassa and a traditional arts and crafts center managed by a Toureg family.

    Your Morocco private desert tour then brings you through the fascinating acacia forests with their umbrella-shaped trees, to reach Alnif, where you will enjoy your lunch break.
