Day 1: FROM MARRAKECH TO THE DRAA VALLEY
Departing from Marrakech, your first spectacular stop will be the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, from which you can enjoy a full view over the surrounding panorama. Take your time with a rich local breakfast, then ride south to Zagora along the Draa river. Reaching Tamegroute, you will visit the Koranic library of the local zaouia (Islamic religious school) and also their pottery co-operative. Next on your private Morocco desert trip, the oasis of Tagouenite and the town of M’hamid El Ghizlane. From here, going off the road and driving further south to the Erg Chigaga desert, stop for some refreshments and mint tea before changing your ride with your private camel to explore the dunes in time for the sunset. Day 3: SAHARA DESERT TO MARRAKECH
The sun rising over the Sahara dunes is a sight not to miss this morning. Have fun sandboarding among the Erg Chigaga dunes before returning to the camp for a fulfilling local breakfast and a refreshing shower. On your drive back to Ouarzazate, visit the village of Foum Zguid and the Iriqui Lake with its unique wildlife. You will find some authentic Moroccan carpets in Taznakht, before you ride through the Atlas Mountains and reach the big city of Marrakech by sunset.
